This article refers to recent research carried out by SKAI into who buys coaching in organisations. The article focuses on key findings in the research including the fact that many organisations only offer coaching when it is requested; senior managers do not rate their own learning and development as a priority; senor managers don't understand what coaching is or how it can help them and that they are often unaware of the extent of their influence on the workplace and that ultimately they are role models.
