Nicki Tanner, SKAI's expert in Leadership Development, spoke at the first Leadership Forum organised by the Law Society for 50 of its members. The focus of this session was 'Leadership in Action'. Given the unique environment of law firms and the increasing pressure in the 'market place' Nicki used an experiential exercise to highlight the different leadership styles and what can get in the way of demonstrating the necessary leadership for the situation. Nicki then facilitated the learning to identify some critical aspects of leadership and the difference that this can have on firm's success. Using her extensive knowledge of the legal sector, she helped participants transfer the insights on leadership to personal action.
