Kate Lidbetter, SKAI's Head of Coaching spoke on “The Top 10 Tips for Climbing the Greasy Pole” otherwise known as effective ways of advancing your career.  Drawing on some primary research conducted with successful leaders, Kate took the audience through the crucial activities required to assure promotion and advancement, in order of importance.  There was also time to ponder upon the different cultures in the public vs the private sector, understanding where the top 10 activities would be easier, or more challenging to implement.
