SKAI operates with a mix of employees and a network of 30+ accredited contractors. The majority of our people have been working with us for many years. Although our people would not like to be referred to as “grey haired men/women”, it is a fair analogy. All our people are seasoned professionals - we have no “fresh out of business school graduates” working for us. We offer diverse and flexible working conditions that attract the best people.
We believe that in order to be truly successful in our business you need to not only have a successful track record as a consultant/coach but also to have been there and done it yourself as a business person. We believe it is this that gives us the edge over other organisations.
Our recruitment processes are challenging and there is a high failure rate (currently 94%) amongst potential recruits. Our recruitment is driven by ensuring we find the right style fit - we only take on people who are optimally skilled, and work hard at retaining them, be they employees or contractors. Once someone has been recruited, they will be trained and accredited in our proprietary products, depending on what sort of work they are going to be delivering for us.
Our people prize the on-going delivery of quality services as an essential requirement for an effective relationship with our clients. Proper initiation, including clear outcome oriented results is key to our quality assurance. Each piece of work we undertake is initiated in this way, and on-going management tracked against the desired business outcomes.
